Director of Patient Access

Western NC Community Health Services (WNCCHS), a Federally Qualified Health Center, located in Asheville, NC, is seeking a full-time Director of Patient Access. This senior management employee will ensure that all medical care services are delivered in an effective and efficient manner. This employee will have the authority to implement, modify, and supervise the schedule for medical services (including behavioral health). He or she will problem-solve across departments and staff lines to ensure patient-centered access to medical care. Both nursing and patient support (front desk) management will report to him or her directly. A bachelor (or higher degree) in health care administration and at least 5 years of experience as an administrator in a 10+ providers primary care practice. Demonstrated work experience or relevant certification (e.g., CMPE or CPPM) may be considered as substitution for educational requirements. In addition, a RN license is helpful, but not required. Annual salary range is $75,340 to $128,960

Medical Records Associate
Western NC Community Health Services has an opening for a full-time Medical Records Associate. Ideal candidate will have prior medical records experience, as well as familiarity with HIPAA regulations, medical terminology and excellent data entry skills. Work hours are Monday – Friday, 9am – 5 pm (with one hour paid lunch break) and limited evening, weekend or holiday work required. Pharmacy Technician
Western NC Community Health Services is hiring a full-time (40 hour week) Board and Nationally Certified Technician for our clinic pharmacy. Retail experience is preferred. Our pharmacy operates Monday – Friday (with one hour paid lunch break), NO weekend or holiday work required. We offer a very competitive salary, along with an excellent benefits package. ​Adult Primary Care Provider
Western NC Community Health Services, a Federally Qualified Health Center, seeks a full-time primary care provider (PCP) for its busy outpatient clinic. This position is open to  advanced practice clinicians (NP or PA) with a minimum of three (3) years clinical experience in a primary care setting. In a multidisciplinary team setting, the provider is expected to manage the primary medical and behavioral health needs of low-income/uninsured adult patients. We offer a very competitive salary, along with an excellent benefits package. Successful candidate may also qualify for educational loan repayment assistance. Our providers work four, ten hour shifts per week, with no evening, weekend or holidays required. Additionally, no hospital calls required.
