PROVIDERS
Natali Cabrera, FNP, is a Family Nurse Practitioner who joined WNCCHS in August 2022. She graduated from the MGH Institute of Health Professions Master of Science in Nursing program in Boston in 2011. Prior to that she attended Western Connecticut State University. She has worked for community health centers for the last 9 years and enjoys working as part of an integrative primary care and behavioral health care team. She is fluent in Spanish and English. When not at work, she enjoys spending time with her husband and 3 children, as well as reading, music and bike riding.
Heather Cook, FNP, grew up in WNC and graduated from nursing school at University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1992. After working as an ICU nurse in Chapel Hill and San Diego, Heather completed an FNP program at the University of California San Diego. She has worked in public health, family practice and internal medicine for the past 20 years and is delighted to be back home in North Carolina near family and old friends. When she is not working Heather loves hiking, trail running and reading.
