The Lead Dental Assistant will perform all the responsibilities of the Dental Assistant as well as being responsible for the following: supply inventory and ordering; weekly maintenance of Quality Logs; training new dental assistants; assigning dental assistants to daily schedules; ensure dental staff are compliant with OSHA regulations and safety requirements; and ensure that all SDS sheets are up to date. Western NC Community Health Services (WNCCHS), a non-profit, Federally Qualified Community Health Center (FQHC) with 15 primary care and 9 integrated behavioral health providers, seeks a full-time Medical Director of Population Health. The Medical Director will provide direct patient care 3.5 days per week with 1.5 days administrative time.The Medical Director provides clinical and strategic leadership and direction to population health initiatives. The Medical Director will develop and execute strategies to improve patient care and meet the clinical objectives of all population health and risk-sharing arrangements. Collaborates with operational and finance leaders across the organization to enhance the delivery of care, adapt “best practices,” and develops and implements value-based financial incentive models, including upside gain-sharing arrangements, quality improvement incentive programs, governmental incentive programs, and other third party pay-for-performance programs. Population Health initiatives include but are not limited to quality improvement, risk score accuracy, government programs, KPIs, and improvement in ineffective utilization. The Medical Director helps clinicians focus on models of care that advance the health of the community and the individual, control cost, and enhances reimbursement through value-based purchasing and shared risk opportunities. The Medical Director will need working knowledge of P4P programs and care management models (ACOs, medical homes). Experience and demonstrated successful leadership of case management, disease management and /or population health programs. Knowledge of the concept of risk and how the application of risk management theory can alter population health outcomes. Experience working with the application of data analytics and performance measurement tools for improving patient outcomes. Minimum of 5 years in a clinical administrative role within a primary care setting. At least 2 years’ experience with governance and management in an established ACO and/or directing value-based reimbursement models. Licensed Practical Nurse - COVID Team

The LPN will join our COVID-19 response team working both onsite as well as in the community performing COVID-19 vaccinations and testing. The LPN will also work closely with the health care teams, either face to face or via telephone. The LPN will obtain medical/surgical/family/social history from patients and or their guardian or representative. The LPN will provide appropriate care to ill, injured or disabled patients, and will advise the patients and their caregivers on health maintenance and disease prevention. Graduation from an approved practical nursing program holding a current North Carolina Licensed Practical Nurse license, as well as current BLS certification. Front Office Supervisor

The Front Office Supervisor provides direct supervision to the front office and call center staff and manages processes associated with patient check in/out, customer service, appointment scheduling, telephone call management, registration, co-pay collections, insurance verification, patient recall and end of day closure.   • Develops performance standards and metrics for key tasks of front desk/call center staff. Designs reports to monitor staff performance.
  • Coaches/mentors staff and develops written performance improvement plans when performance of staff does not meet expectations; monitors improvement and takes necessary action to ensure expected performance is achieved.
