Mission, Vision, Values

WNCCHS Mission

To provide high-quality and life-enriching health care to all people living within our region, regardless of ability to pay.

WNCCHS Vision

Our overall vision is to advance health equity by acknowledging and actively addressing social determinants of health. Through community partnerships, education, distribution of resources and other methods, we hope to build social and physical environments that promote good health for all.

WNCCHS Values

 Compassion

Through patient-centered, culturally sensitive and trauma-informed care, we strive to create a compassionate and respectful space for patients and employees alike.

Diversity

We celebrate the diversity of cultures, genders, races, ethnicities, abilities, ages, sexual orientation and other lived experiences of the patients we serve and the employees we hire. We acknowledge our responsibility to ensure that there is diversity and equity for all under the WNCCHS roof, and foster systems that support a culture of safety and acceptance.

 Quality

With a clinic-wide commitment to excellence, our employees and systems are able to adapt to the ever-changing healthcare landscape with the latest industry standards for promoting safety, implementing evidence-based care, and tracking health outcomes.

 Integrity

WNCCHS embodies an uncompromised adherence to strong moral and ethical principles and values. Our operational decisions and chosen community partnerships are based on our commitment to improve the quality of life for marginalized or vulnerable people of our region.

 Teamwork

Our teamwork is rooted in a firm belief that people matter more than anything, and we actively work to empower employees in all positions to become involved in operational decisions for our clinic. We believe that trust-based relationships are crucial in a healthy organization, and we choose to foster systems where any team member may express their ideas for growth.
