Aaron Davis, PharmD, serves as Chief Pharmacy Officer at Western North Carolina Community Health Services (WNCCHS), bringing more than 25 years of experience in community pharmacy. Throughout his career, he has held a range of leadership roles in both corporate pharmacy and independent practice, with a focus on quality care, excellent service, and strengthening the role of pharmacy within the health care team.

Aaron grew up in Ellenboro, North Carolina, in Rutherford County. He attended Appalachian State University, where he studied chemistry, before earning his Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Campbell University. He began his career as a pharmacy technician in a small independent pharmacy, where he developed an appreciation for the personal relationships pharmacists build with patients and the meaningful impact they can have on community health.

After earning his pharmacy degree, Aaron worked in the Raleigh-Durham area before returning to Western North Carolina. He has lived in the Asheville area for the past 10 years and is passionate about serving the community he calls home. Aaron believes pharmacists are among the most accessible members of a patient’s health care team and is committed to creating a pharmacy experience where patients receive high-quality care and feel genuinely supported.

As Chief Pharmacy Officer, Aaron brings his experience in pharmacy practice and leadership to WNCCHS while working alongside the organization’s clinical teams to serve underserved communities.
