Paul Davis, CPA, serves as Chief Financial Officer at Western North Carolina Community Health Services (WNCCHS). With a background in public accounting and financial oversight, he joined WNCCHS as Accounting Manager in 2021 and became Chief Financial Officer in 2025.

Prior to joining WNCCHS, Paul worked at several regional public accounting firms, where he managed audits of financial statements, 401(k) and 403(b) plans, and complex contract arrangements. He also consulted with government contractor agencies on compliance with Defense Contract Audit Agency (DCAA) audits and advised on best practices for monitoring subcontractors on large-scale projects.

Paul holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and a Master of Accountancy from the University of Florida. He is a Certified Public Accountant and serves in a professional capacity with other nonprofit organizations in the area, including Loving Food Resources.

Paul was drawn to Western North Carolina by its mountains and strong sense of community. He sought to transition from the for-profit finance world into mission-driven work and was drawn to WNCCHS as a way to engage more directly with issues he has long been interested in, such as economic stability and the strength of the social safety net.

Paul and his family live in Candler, North Carolina.
