FAMILY NURSE PRACTITIONER

Emily Mase, FNP-C, is a Family Nurse Practitioner who is excited to return to Asheville and join the WNCCHS community. She earned her undergraduate degree in Communication Studies from UNC Asheville nearly 20 years ago before moving to New Orleans, where she attended Louisiana State University for nursing school.

Emily spent several years caring for patients in the emergency department before transitioning to primary care. There, she discovered a passion for preventive, holistic care and for building meaningful, long-term relationships with patients and families.

Emily enjoys caring for people from all walks of life and is especially grateful to practice community health in the mountains she has long considered home.

Outside of work, Emily enjoys spending time with her family and children and exploring Asheville.
