Brooke Elliott, LCMHCA, is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate from Raleigh, North Carolina. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Information Technology from North Carolina State University in 2021. After making a career change, Brooke earned her Master of Health Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Catawba College in 2025.

Before joining WNCCHS, Brooke lived in Boone, North Carolina, where she completed her internship and spent four years working with individuals experiencing mental health crises, homelessness, food insecurity, substance use disorders, co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders, and other challenges in underserved rural communities.

As a clinician, Brooke uses a variety of therapeutic modalities, including cognitive behavioral therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, and prolonged exposure therapy. She primarily works with teens and adults in outpatient settings and participates in integrated programs such as Collaborative Care Management, the Medications for Opioid Use Disorder Clinic, and the TRANSFORM study. Brooke takes a person-centered approach, meeting patients where they are and fostering an environment of trust and acceptance. She also enjoys working with neurodiverse clients, as she herself is on the autism spectrum.

Outside of work, Brooke enjoys hiking with her partner and dachshund, exploring the mountains, and spending time with friends and family. She is also a big fan of NC State and the Carolina Hurricanes.
