Please see the message below about the 2020 US Census. The Census is important to our community as it helps allocated federal resources. Please complete your census. I read last week that North Carolina had the second lowest response of all the states.
One of the most important ways you can support your community right now is by completing the 2020 Census questionnaire. The Census is easier than ever to complete as you can go online at www.2020census.gov or you can complete over the phone by calling 844-330-2020 (English) or 844-468-2020 (Spanish). Once complete, you will have done your part to ensure our community gets the federal dollars it needs to provide much needed services. Every year, over 675 Billion dollars are given out to support things like, Medicare/Medicaid, school lunches, and emergency response. The funds are allocated based on the population count taken from the Census. Please complete your questionnaire today!
