The stakes are unbelievably high!

For the first time in the 107-year history of the American Cancer Society, our mission to save lives, celebrate lives, and lead the fight for a world without cancer, is at risk. 1.8 million people will be newly diagnosed with cancer this year. We must be there with answers, support, and guidance. And just when these patients need us most, we’ve had to cancel thousands of fundraising events that are critical to our mission. Literally overnight, our single greatest source of revenue has drastically diminished. Today is Giving Tuesday Now, a global day of shared humanity and giving, and we need you to step up for cancer patients. When you make a gift today, it will make 2x the impact, thanks to a matching gift. Gifts will be matched dollar-for-dollar, up to $50,000. As the coronavirus spreads, cancer patients and survivors are facing mounting uncertainty and risk. The risks are great. The role of the American Cancer Society is more critical than ever; with answers to questions; with research to continue our progress; with advocacy to help protect people with cancer and their loved ones. The best way to fight back is together. Stand with us and stand with cancer patients by making a gift today. In honor of Giving Tuesday Now all gifts will be matched up to $50,000. Cancer isn’t stopping because of the spread of the coronavirus, so neither can we. Thank you for fighting with us. Jeff Kean, Chair American Cancer Society Board of Directors P.S. Your gift is tax deductible – even if you don’t itemize, the Congressional stimulus bill allows you to deduct up to $300. DONATE
